In 2009, we founded Fab Habitat with the goal of bringing our family business producing mats in India to our new home in New Jersey. But we wanted to do more than that – we wanted to find a way to produce durable, stylish home accessories that would be good for the home and even better for the planet.

All rugs are certified by Good Weave, a nonprofit organization founded by Nobel Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, dedicated to ending child labor in the carpet industry and offering education to children in weaving communities.
